WEOC National Loan Program

A national microloan of up to $50,000 for women and non-binary entrepreneurs, funded by the federal Women Entrepreneurship Strategy and delivered through regional Loan Fund Partners. It targets start-ups, sole proprietors and underrepresented owners who have trouble getting bank financing, with no minimum credit score. A regional partner advisor helps you prepare and submit the application.

What you'll need

  • Business plan
  • Cash flow projection
  • Proof business is at least 50% women-owned

How to apply

  1. 1Find your provincial WEOC Loan Fund Partner (for example WeBC, AWE, WESK, WECM, NLOWE, PARO)
  2. 2Book an intake call with a partner advisor
  3. 3Prepare your business plan and cash flow with their help
  4. 4Submit the online application through the link the advisor provides
  5. 5Complete loan agreement on approval
