Nova Scotia Small Business Loan Guarantee Program

This Nova Scotia program, delivered through participating credit unions, helps small businesses access financing they might not otherwise qualify for. The province guarantees up to 90 percent of term loans and up to 75 percent of lines of credit (90 percent under special streams), with financing available up to $500,000. Most business types qualify except real estate, taverns, and ethically or legally questionable ventures.
