Canadian businesses leave
billions on the table.
We built Deductly because the problem is not that programs do not exist. The problem is that nobody knows what they qualify for. The information is buried across 50+ government websites, written in tax-speak, and changes every year.
Why this
exists.
Every founder we have talked to has the same story. They find out about a grant or credit they should have applied for years ago. Their accountant did not mention it. Their bookkeeper did not know about it. They had to hear it from a friend at a dinner party.
That is not anyone's fault. The Canadian funding landscape is genuinely messy. Federal programs through ISED, NRC, Mitacs. Provincial programs through ten different ministries. Industry-specific credits buried in tax forms with serial numbers nobody remembers.
So we started with the simplest possible question: if you tell us ten things about your business, can we hand you back the complete list of what you qualify for? The answer turned out to be yes.

BBA student at Wilfrid Laurier University. Currently interning at RBC. Built Deductly because the Canadian funding landscape is genuinely broken and small business owners deserve better than a 50-tab Google search.
Talked to a lot of founders. Every one of them had a story about money they almost missed. Deductly exists so the next person does not have to find out at a dinner party.
How we operate.
Four rules we follow, even when it would be easier not to.
No hallucinations.
Every program in Deductly is real, sourced from official Canadian government sites, and verified by a human. We do not use AI to generate program names. We use AI only to explain why a program fits your specific business.
No paywalls on basic discovery.
Finding what you qualify for will always be free. Canadian businesses are already underclaiming federal and provincial benefits. Putting a paywall on the discovery layer would be a betrayal of the whole point.
No data hoarding.
Your questionnaire answers stay in your browser. We only see your email if you give it to us. We do not sell, share, or analyze user data beyond aggregate counts.
No fake urgency.
When we say a deadline is rolling, it is. When we say an approval rate is high, we mean it based on public outcomes. No countdown timers, no fake scarcity.
