Because ChatGPT will
confidently lie to you.
We tested it. ChatGPT invented program names, mixed up federal and provincial, and hallucinated dollar amounts. For tax work, that is expensive to get wrong.
Use Claude or ChatGPT for first drafts. Use Deductly for anything involving money.

Things
people ask.
Yes. The eligibility quiz and full program directory will always be free. We may launch paid tiers later for things like deadline alerts, weekly digests, and accountant tooling, but discovery itself stays free forever.
No. Deductly is a discovery and matching tool. We tell you what your business qualifies for. Filing is still on you or your accountant. Most people use us a few weeks before tax season to make sure they walk into their accountant's office with a complete checklist.
Every program in our database is hand-verified against the official Canadian government source. We do not generate program names with AI. We do use AI to explain why a specific program fits your business, but the programs themselves are real, cited, and linkable.
Provincial coverage is one of our strongest areas because it is where most accountants are weakest. We track programs from all 13 provinces and territories. The province-specific ones are flagged prominently in your results.
Your answers stay in your browser. We do not see them. If you give us your email to receive your results, we store that one piece of information. No business names, no financial details, no CRA numbers.
Because 10 questions is enough to filter against eligibility rules. Programs do not actually need to know your business name, address, or CRA number. They need to know your business structure, industry, province, size, age, goals, and whether you do certain activities. That is what we ask.
Most Canadian programs are rolling, meaning you can apply year-round. Some are annual, tied to your fiscal year. A few are competitive with hard windows. We surface the deadline on each program's detail page.
Yes, and many do. We have a dedicated page at /for-accountants. We are also working on a multi-client dashboard for accounting firms. Email hello@deductly.ca if you are interested in early access.
313 programs.
Three minutes to your list.
The money is budgeted either way. The only question is whether your business is in the ledger.
