An Ontario program for businesses with 50 or fewer employees that installs energy-efficient lighting and non-lighting equipment at no cost. A delivery partner does a free on-site assessment, then handles contractor sourcing, installation and cleanup for you. Incentives cover up to $3,000 of lighting and up to $2,500 of non-lighting equipment such as refrigeration controls and smart thermostats.
Review times vary by program, from a few weeks to a few months, so check the official page for its timeline. Grant money is usually paid after you sign a funding agreement, and cost-shared programs often reimburse you once you send proof of what you spent.
