New Brunswick Wage Subsidy for People with Disabilities (Working Together)

Last verified: June 2026

In New Brunswick, the Working Together program run by the Neil Squire Society connects employers with job-ready candidates who have a disability and provides a wage subsidy to support long-term hiring. The program is funded by the federal Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities and delivered locally. Candidates must self-declare a disability, be unemployed or working under twenty hours a week, not have received EI in the past three years, and be job ready. The employer works with the delivery organization to set up the subsidy.
