The Métis Voyageur Development Fund is a Métis-owned and controlled lender that finances Métis-owned businesses operating in Ontario, at rates better than commercial lenders and with fewer restrictions. It provides business financing of up to $1,500,000 and pairs it with ongoing business support. Eligible businesses are at least 50% owned by a recognized Métis citizen and run for profit in Ontario. Sole proprietors must provide a personal guarantee.
