IWSCC Disabled-Owned Business Certification

Last verified: June 2026

The Inclusive Workplace and Supply Council of Canada is the national certifying body for disabled-owned businesses. Certification confirms your business is at least 51 percent owned, operated, and controlled by a person or people with a disability, and signals that to corporate and public buyers running supplier diversity programs. It is a structural advantage that helps win procurement, not a cash grant, and it carries a flat annual fee. IWSCC uses the Accessible Canada Act definition of disability.
