Enbridge Gas pays incentives to Ontario business customers that cut natural gas use through equipment upgrades and retrofits. The prescriptive program pays fixed per-unit amounts up to 50% of project cost and $100,000 per project, while the custom retrofit program pays based on gas saved up to 75% of cost and $100,000 per project. A small business stream can cover up to 100% of eligible upgrades. Equipment and installation deadlines apply within the 2026 program year.
Review times vary by program, from a few weeks to a few months, so check the official page for its timeline. Grant money is usually paid after you sign a funding agreement, and cost-shared programs often reimburse you once you send proof of what you spent.
