Can you stack Ecorecharge Charging Station Grant (Businesses and Organizations) and Roulez vert Electric Vehicle Rebate (Businesses and Fleets)?
Yes. Ecorecharge Charging Station Grant (Businesses and Organizations) and Roulez vert Electric Vehicle Rebate (Businesses and Fleets) can be combined. They fund different things, so the trick is simple: apply to each separately and never claim the same dollar twice. Together they reach up to $502K+ in potential value.
Ecorecharge Charging Station Grant (Businesses and Organizations)
The Ecorecharge program reimburses businesses and organizations for installing Level 2 or direct current fast charging (DCFC) stations, including the electrical infrastructure work. The grant covers 50 percent of eligible expenses, capped per station, up to a maximum of $500,000 per site per business. Eligible costs include station purchase, installation labour and materials, electrical infrastructure, and oversizing for future needs. The program runs to March 31 2028.
Roulez vert Electric Vehicle Rebate (Businesses and Fleets)
The Roulez vert program gives businesses, organizations, and municipalities in Quebec a rebate when they buy or lease eligible new or used electric vehicles, including fleet purchases. For vehicles registered in 2026 the rebate is $2,000 for a new fully electric vehicle and $1,000 for an eligible used one, with reduced amounts for plug-in hybrids. Only the vehicle's registration date determines eligibility, and the program ends permanently on December 31 2026.
How to stack them
- 01Confirm you meet each program's eligibility on its own. Ecorecharge Charging Station Grant (Businesses and Organizations) and Roulez vert Electric Vehicle Rebate (Businesses and Fleets) are assessed separately.
- 02Apply to each program through its own application. There is no combined form.
- 03Allocate distinct costs to each program. You cannot claim the same dollar of expense under both, but you can fund different parts of the same project.
- 04Track both deadlines and keep the paperwork separated, so each claim stands on its own.
Stacking rules vary by program and change over time. Confirm the current rules with each program, or take the quiz and we will flag the combinations you qualify for.
