The City of Vancouver provides grants to rehabilitate and seismically stabilize the facades of registered heritage buildings. Eligible work includes ground-floor storefront conservation, building envelope materials, windows, doors, historic signs and awnings, and architectural lighting. Buildings must be on the Vancouver Heritage Register and built primarily of unreinforced masonry. The program accepts applications year-round.
