Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) Stream

An Ontario Regional Development Program stream that helps advanced manufacturers across the province invest in capital equipment, technology adoption, and skills development. Funding is usually an interest-free loan of up to 15% of eligible project costs to a maximum of $5 million, with up to 30% (to $500,000) forgivable if investment and job or upskilling targets are met. Eligible sectors include aerospace, automotive, chemical, ICT, life sciences, and steel. Businesses generally need three years of operations, at least 10 employees, and a project investment of at least $500,000. This funding cannot be stacked with other provincial programs.
