Louis Riel Capital Corporation (LRCC) is the Manitoba Metis Federation's Red River Metis-owned lending institution, financing the start-up, acquisition, and expansion of Metis-owned small businesses in Manitoba. Its Business Grant and Loan Program combines commercial loans with non-repayable grants toward eligible capital, marketing, business support, and first-three-months operating costs. Owners must be at least 51% Red River Metis with valid MMF citizenship, reside in Manitoba, and contribute at least 10% cash equity.
