What you'll need

  • Most recent corporate tax return
  • Description of target export market
  • Itemized export development budget

How to apply

  1. 1Confirm eligibility at tradecommissioner.gc.ca
  2. 2Create an account in the online portal
  3. 3Submit your export development plan
  4. 4Receive approval before incurring costs
Deadline:2026-27 intake: applications open February 4, 2026 and accepted until August 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET (rolling competitive basis). Combined government support capped at 75% of project costs.
