50% of costs up to a $20,000 base grant, plus up to $4,000 for AODA upgrades and more for multi-unit properties

This City of Toronto program offers matching funding for interior renovations to vacant or occupied storefronts that are commercial at street level. It covers half the cost of work such as structural upgrades, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, flooring, lighting, and accessibility improvements. The program is funded through FedDev Ontario and is aimed at helping local small businesses recover and grow.
