Ecocamionnage helps freight carriers and businesses with service vehicles cut greenhouse gas emissions through electrification, energy efficiency, and alternative fuels. It has three streams: acquiring technologies, acquiring used heavy zero-emission vehicles, and logistics projects. The program does not apply to passenger transport and is funded by the Fonds d'electrification et de changements climatiques.
Review times vary by program, from a few weeks to a few months, so check the official page for its timeline. Grant money is usually paid after you sign a funding agreement, and cost-shared programs often reimburse you once you send proof of what you spent.
