Quebec City Capitale-Commerce Grant

A non-repayable contribution from the City of Quebec to support commercial projects that diversify, improve, or maintain the commercial offer on eligible commercial streets such as Vieux-Quebec, Saint-Roch, Avenue Cartier, and Saint-Sauveur. It funds the opening or expansion of a retail, restaurant, or service business, equipment purchases, and strategic advisory services. The standard contribution is up to $25,000 covering a maximum of 30% of eligible expenses. The business must be incorporated (or an Indigenous-owned sole proprietorship or partnership in Wendake), have 50 or fewer employees, occupy a ground-floor location, and have a minimum project of $15,000.

  • Completed Capitale-Commerce financing application form
  • Proof of location on an eligible commercial street in the Quebec City agglomeration

  • Commercial lease of at least 36 months (for new businesses)
