A MAPAQ grant stream that funds applied research and experimental development for commercial fishing, aquaculture, and aquatic product processing companies in Quebec. It can cover up to 80% of eligible expenses to a maximum of $210,000 per project, with a 10% bonus for projects in the Iles-de-la-Madeleine. Projects must run no more than three years, involve scientific or technological uncertainty, and aim at a new or improved product or process. The program runs through March 31, 2028.
