Indian Business Corporation Financing (Alberta)

Indian Business Corporation (IBC) is a Calgary-based Aboriginal Financial Institution that has lent to First Nation businesses in Alberta since 1987, with loans averaging around $70,000 and ranging up to roughly $1 million. It provides term financing to establish, expand, or acquire on-reserve and off-reserve First Nation businesses. A minimum 10% equity contribution is required, at least half in cash, and all financing is secured by assets satisfactory to IBC.
