A BC Hydro program for small and medium businesses using under 500 MWh per year that pays incentives for simple one-for-one equipment upgrades such as swapping fluorescent fixtures for LEDs and adding occupancy sensors or controls. Pre-approval is required through BC Hydro before work starts, and an Alliance member contractor files the application for you. Time-limited bonus incentives have been available on top of base amounts.
Review times vary by program, from a few weeks to a few months, so check the official page for its timeline. Grant money is usually paid after you sign a funding agreement, and cost-shared programs often reimburse you once you send proof of what you spent.
