What you'll need

  • Apprenticeship agreement registered with provincial authority
  • Payroll records for apprentice wages
  • T4 slips for the apprentice

How to apply

  1. 1Register the apprentice with your provincial trades authority
  2. 2Ensure they're in a qualifying Red Seal trade
  3. 3Track eligible wages paid
  4. 4Claim on Schedule 31 of your T2 or T1
